Gearbox

It looks a little off but this is the way the gearbox seal is supposed to sit.

Seal

That door seal area is a polished surface not a grove. It is steel. Found out the gears worked perfectly if no gaskets are used. In fact, the only gaskets are the head gasket, junction block gasket, door gasket and the points cover gasket! Gears mesh better!

Seal

Special tool for seating the needle roller bearings in the gearbox. Gives proper position. Sold by British Cycle Supply and others.
